Some people have a legitimate reason to feel depressed, but not me. I just woke up one day feeling sad and helpless for absolutely no reason.
Being sad for no reason sucks. When you’re sad, you look for what is making you sad and you try to change it. So what do you do when you can’t see the reason for your sadness?
I hoped it would go away after a few days, but it didn’t. The sadness didn’t go away.
So, I tried to force myself to stop being sad.
‘Maria, stop being sad. Stop it. Right now. Stop.’
